I've played countless very good guitars over the years, but while many other brands have come and gone, I've always had an Ovation. (Now I probably have too many...) Ovations have always aroused something of a love/hate dynamic among guitarists, but it isn't hard to see which side of that debate I fall on.
In the last ten years or so, I have thoroughly enjoyed an ongoing relationship with the good people working at the Ovation factory in New Hartford, CT. As a result, I have had the opportunity to customize several instruments and could not be more pleased with the results. It's been a privilege to build out some ideas and remains a privilege to play such fine instruments.
